Yesterday, Rowperfect announced yet another one of their wonderful RowingChats. This one is on Friday, 25 May, with Eric Murray on YouTube.com. Listen live on Friday at 4 p.m. Auckland time (time converter is here) by clicking here.

Eric Murray is well-known as one half of the famous Kiwi Pair, together with teammate Hamish Bond. Murray is known as a gold medallist at the 2012 London and 2016 Rio Olympic Games. He won four consecutive World Championship gold medals and set two world best times. Murray is also an indoor rowing record holder – in December 2011, he set a new world record on a Concept 2 Dynamic Rowing Machine, when he went 18,728 metres in one hour.

At the 2012 Olympics, Murray and Bond took six seconds off the world record at 6:08.5 in the men’s coxless pair. In the Olympic final, they surged into the lead after the 500-metre mark to win gold in 6:16.65. The victory capped an undefeated streak that began when Murray and Bond began racing the pair internationally in 2009.

Now you have the chance to ask Eric some questions.

Send your questions in the comment form found here (scroll down the page to the bottom) and get the inside track on the legends that are the Kiwi Pair!
